About the role
The access control SW program encompasses everything from cutting edge software solutions to smart partner integrations as well as embedded firmware for our comprehensive hardware portfolio. As a Software Project Manager in Access Control, you will be responsible for leading SW solutions within the program, collaborating closely with team leaders, project managers, team managers and the product manager. We act with an agile mindset, and your role will involve leading and navigating complex projects within this framework. You will play a crucial role in understanding the technical dependencies between teams, making sure everyone works together seamlessly towards our shared goals.

What you'll do

• Lead the deliveries of SW solutions together with the team leaders in an agile environment, understanding and implementing the methodologies effectively.
• Engage and collaborate closely with stakeholders, understanding and participating in technical discussions to reason about priorities and strategic choices.
• Structure both short-term sprints and longer-term capacity planning, visualizing the broader project roadmap.
• Support strong relationships and collaboration within your teams and across the wider Axis organization, acting as a network builder.
• Identify, understand, and facilitate the resolution of dependencies between different teams to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
• Continuously develop methodologies and processes embracing new and changing needs in the way of working.
• Proactively seek opportunities for improvement, showing curiosity and initiative to make a difference beyond traditional role boundaries.

Who are you?

• You hold a university degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• You possess a proven track record of leading effectively with agile methodologies.
• You are self-driven, positive, and by nature solution-oriented, thriving on challenges and opportunities.
• You are a natural network builder, cultivating positive relationships both internally and externally.
• You can understand and lead technical discussions, challenging as well as empathizing with the development teams to lead the way forward.
• You are not afraid to look beyond your immediate responsibilities to identify areas where you can contribute to our greater success.
